Since its inception in 1998, Heart & Soul Tattoo has stood as a prominent establishment on Brisbane's Northside for more than two decades. Our studio boasts expertise in a wide array of tattoo styles, each artist bringing over a decade of experience. Our talented team has roots in the traditional mechanical methodology, where tattoo machines were meticulously tuned, and needle bars and groups were crafted individually.

All our artists are licensed under QLD legislation and possess infectious control certification, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our clients.

FAQ's

To schedule an appointment, you can contact us by phone, email, the studio via the online forms, send a message directly to the artist via their socials or through our shop Facebook page. You are welcome to visit the shop to speak with one of our friendly artists.

Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend pre-booking to secure your preferred time.

Our minimum charge is $100, and we charge an hourly rate of $160 for larger pieces.

For extensive projects, we offer a day rate, which can be negotiated with the artist for better value.

We operate on a cash-only basis, with nearby ATMs for convenience.

Payment is required at the end of each session.

Cancellation or rescheduling requires a minimum of 48 hours' notice, or the deposit will be forfeited.

Clients must be 18 years old with valid ID for tattoo services.

Gift vouchers can be purchased directly from the shop. Contact us to arrange the perfect gift.

Aftercare tips for tattoos:
- Remove the bandage after 1 hour and do not reapply.
- Gently wash with mild soap and warm water.
- Apply Dr. Pickles, ointment lightly 3-6 times daily, depending on skin type.
- Keep the tattoo clean, avoid swimming for 2-3 weeks, and avoid direct sun exposure during the healing period.
- It's normal for the tattoo to scab and shed colored flakes; avoid picking at the scab to prevent color loss.

For touch-ups, we guarantee our work. If a touch-up is needed, notify us within 2 months of getting your tattoo for a free touch-up session.
